Where are they now?

June 21, 2010

If you look to the right of this page, you’ll see a section called “LINKS.”  It is here that you’ll find the link to the live map provided by SPOT GPS.  Don’t be concerned if there’s no data in it just yet as I’ve recently cleaned out my test data in preparation for the race.  (There may be one or several data points near Page Field from today….I just tested it one more time.)

Our plan is to start the tracking feature when we get in the plane.  It’s possible we could sit on the ground for an hour or so before we actually leave – so again, that’s expected.  Once we’re airborne the GPS will track our location every 10 minutes.  When we stop for the day, I’ll shut it off, and pick up the next day.

Those of you in close proximity to KFDK (Frederick Municipal Airport,) keep a close eye on that last leg….and come out and see us!
